Sayulita, Mexico
Travel, Transportation, and Accommodation
We can’t wait to celebrate with you in Sayulita, Mexico! Below is everything you need to know about getting there, getting around, and where to stay. If you have any questions, let us know! We’re happy to help in any way.
Getting to Sayulita
Please fly into PVR - Puerto Vallarta International Airport (Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz).
Sayulita is about a 45 minute drive north from PVR. Here are a few ways to get to town:
Private Shuttle: You can book a shuttle in advance for a stress-free ride. This can be booked through your hotel/villa. Feel free to connect with other guests to see when they come in to potentially ride together!
Taxi: Taxis are available and if you decide to take a taxi, make sure to go the authorized taxi stand, pre-pay for your taxi and then hop in line outside the terminal to the left. You will be approached about taxi services before exiting the terminal but we recommend you just keep walking until you get to the “Taxi Autorizado” stand.
Uber: Uber is also available and often cheaper, however, Ubers cannot pick you up outside of the terminal. You will need to turn left outside the terminal and cross the pedestrian bridge that goes to the other side of the street. This takes about 7 minutes. (Note that when flying back, you may call an uber from Sayulita to PVR and they will be able to drop you off outside the front door of the airport. They just can’t pick you up directly outside the terminal doors.)
Getting Around Sayulita
Sayulita is walkable, so you won’t need a car unless you plan to explore beyond town. Other options include:
Golf Carts – A fun way to get around town! Several places in town rent them.
Taxis & Rideshares – Local taxis are available, as well as Uber.
Bikes & Scooters – Also available throughout town!
Getting to the Wedding at Hacienda Antiqua
We will be providing shuttles for all guests staying in Sayulita to and from the wedding venue which is located in the neighboring town of Lo De Marcos. Please check back for updates closer to the wedding date.
